I finally bought a new shop heater to replace the old house furnace. It's a Mr. Heater Big Maxx 50,000 BTU, natural gas or propane, forced air unit heater. It's smaller and can be ceiling mounted allowing for more useable shop space. More importantly, I can remove the old furnace and add a rear facing shop door to the backyard for storage and equipment access. Stay tuned for the install and rev...

Power Fist Texture Gun Unboxing Test & Review
Thank you so much for the video! I just did this, and everything went well with the exception of having a grinding noise when I step on the brake pedal. Is that normal?
Nope. That is not normal. Take it apart and find out what it is. Ensure the pads are on correctly and there is no debris between the pad and the rotor. Sometimes a small stone can find its way in between the pad and rotor. I have attached a diagram showing the pads. www.hondapartsonline.net/v-2017-honda-civic--si--1-5l-l4-gas/chassis--rear-brake
This is our dryer since we bought a home last fall. Cleaning the heat exchanger and area behind it monthly has maintained it for us. Then it wouldn't finish a dry cycle, beeping after about 6 minutes. We could always reset it but it was frustrating. Taking the sump pump plate off and cleaning it out with a wet vac did the trick, just like this video shows. We have new sensors ordered but the clogged sump pump was the issue! The Bosch manual we have doesn't do a good job of explaining how to take sump pump plate off to clean. Hopefully they added that to newer models! Thanks for the video!
I have an early ,1970s Thorens TD 160 and a mid 1980s Thorens TD 318. Both belt drive. 160 is completely manual and 318 is auto lift. Both are high quality Swiss/ German made TTS. Highly recommended.
The product has changed somewhat in a year. The handle is now metal. There isn't plastic leveling feet on the forward side which makes correct positioning somewhat more difficult: you can't work in a hurry. It needs lube oil before you start and every couple hours thereafter.
Very helpful. Thank you for your video.
Hi Rob, thanks! Talking about tools, any recommendations for an auto scanner for Toyota/ Honda
I bought an Innova 5150RS. ua-cam.com/video/rB8LfAvfgdk/v-deo.htmlsi=n5F1qms2bUpYBmod
Thanks for a great video and your work producing it! I really appreciated your help and this type of sharing is the best thing about UA-cam. As others have mentioned, there were some extra screws included in the box.
Canada is a very unusual country, eh?
Thank you very much sir, they were charging my daughter over $680 dollars to fixed her rear brake, i follow your instructions and was able to fix her brakes just like you described it, save her over $500 dollars, thank you sir
I accidentally push the brake with no pads on caliper, now the piston pop all the way out, should I just screw back in place, with the tool?
I would try that
Thanks for answering, one more question do I need to remove the p brake motor, or just try to push the piston back?
@@elromantico223 Remove the EPB
Nice job! Better than the official Napoleon videos.
BEST explanation to open the lid to the well where the pump resides. Thank you
I bought this pair of Bosch washer and dryer 4 yrs ago. The washer is great. I love the allergen cycle. And I always use at least one extra rinse. The dryer on the other hand has recently been giving me grief because of the dreaded DR error code. This indicates a drainage pump issue. I clean out the condenser monthly. But what is hard to get to is the well in back of the condenser underneath a lid which is impossible to remove. This is where the pump resides. This well needs cleaning. I wish the well did not have a lid at all, making maintenance easier.
I think only me hate this grill. Our since day one give us troubles.
Oh hey, I'm writing a story that involves renovation. This video was very helpful. Thanks!!
My mate is a mechanic and will do all 4 of my cars wheels, he says for free, while I supervise, fetch, carry and make the drinks. Watching this I recon I should pay him for 2 hours minimum. A local garage wants waaay more and then they make on the parts as well and the main Dealer quotes silly money. Thanks
Grab him a big bottle of his favourite liquor or a couple cases of favourite beer.
On your previous Civic rear brake replacement videos you didn’t use a scan tool. Why did you use it this time? Did something (a code?) pop up after you did the previous jobs?
When I made the first videos scan tools for the consumer were unavailable. Now they are available. Also I make UA-cam videos as an additional source of income. This gives me the opportunity to make another video and a potentially add more income.
Thank you sir. I Got a $580 US estimate for my ‘16 Civic. I thank you for this detailed, step by step video. Saved me hundreds.
I bought the same one. Had less than a month and the bracket that holds the shelves pulled out from the back wall of fridge so all shelves were suspended and moved around. Just a plastic screw...one that held it into the back wall. So when it broke loose, a few small things fell, hit the sliding pull out drawer with the plastic top and broke it.Just a note, I did not place heavy items on top selves which I see you did. Not sure how that holds but mine was definitely defective. It was replaced with same and again, something slipped off shelf and broke that plastic cover on the slide out drawer with the lid. I called Maytag and of course they will not replace and they sell them for over $100.00...Just for a piece of plastic., Not glass, not plexi-glass. Just cheap old plastic. I bought all Maytag appliances, W/D, Fridge, Range, Dishwasher, Microwave and I am so done with Maytag which is also Whirlpool. Thanks for nothing Maytag. You lost a good customer
Wow that sucks! I had a problem with the dishwasher. What a piece of crap!
Hey rob, five years later how have they been? Just picking up a set used and wondering if it’s worth it! Thanks
Still going strong but you have to keep up on the cleaning. I’d get the extended warranty just in case.
I appreciate the feedback! Picked them up used for $650 cad so fingers crossed lol hopefully they kept up on the cleaning!
@@isaacprudhomme8526 You’ll need to clean the dryer like in this video. If the sump pump spent work you will need a replacement. Then just keep up on the cleaning. Good luck!!! ua-cam.com/video/8_CKb2fAQZs/v-deo.htmlsi=RNqt_Sr_kV4Mwrk7
Gazebo did you use and did it hold up in wind 365 days per year. Looks great❤❤
It got taken out on the second season by a big thunderstorm. Too much water ripped the roof.
How is it holding up ?
Great!
@@robsgaragewoodworkin that's good to hear you grease your spindles ? I ordered one of their kits from eBay because it was more cost effective than rebuilding my old ones.
Thank you for this video....😊👍🙌
If i don't have a shop vac to vacuum up the sump pump water, can i use a bunch of rags to soak up the water and then wipe it down? Thank you
I would suggest you invest in a shop vac.
Isn’t that going to rust?
Yes, if you can find similar items in copper, aluminum or stainless steel that would be better. These items are cheap and readily available.
Thank you for clarifying what I found in experience. The torque really doesn't change enuf to matter as much as the ease of removal when maintenance time comes.
My mom told me the nozzle on the passenger side was not spraying. I was troubleshooting it and took it off, thought soaking it in water would clear it. It wasn’t the nozzle b/c I decided to swap the driver & passenger side and the problem still exists. Do the hoses get clogged???
They can. Squirt it a couple times with the nozzle off and that should clear up any issue. Another likely issue is a kinked hose. Make sure it’s not kinked or pinched. Good luck!
My Prestige 500 came assembled and while moving it a year later, the right side door fell off. When I reinserted it, the pegs fit but it was much lower. The door does not close evenly even with the spacer and holes on the bottom. Almost like it needs a water to raise it up. Adjusting the nut was of little help.
There is a washer spacer that the door sits in. Is it possible that is missing?
If you are referring to to the black washer spacer sitting in the bottom hole , no, it is there. To my eye the parts are the same on either side. The only thing that occurs to me is that I did not reassemble on a completely flat surface. Our patio stones are uneven. An since we are about to do a Reno on the patio and my garage has no working space, I won’t know for a while. I’m going to take photos and go to the local retailer who assembled it.
@@robsgaragewoodworkin I think I have to reinstall the door on a level surface. That is what the dealer recommended. As I was moseying about the dealer I saw one with assembled with a similar issue. Glad to know I am not only one. The BBQ works fine though.
This is helpful! My condo yard has really tall fences and I am really short so can't reach the latch. I'm not allowed to drill a hole completely thorough the fence boards so this will likely work for me. Thanks! I can't see how you fed the key rings through though. Presumably there was a hole in the chain end pieces.
Like your video Keep up continue
Thanks!
How many miles did this car have when you changed the brake pads and brake disc? The pads look good but the discs are in bad condition so I was wondering.
I can’t remember. I might have mentioned it somewhere in the video. Salted winter roads in Canada can wreak havoc on your vehicle.
Thank you. This was incredibly helpful!
I wonder of firing up the rotisserie burner would cook the top of the pizza better? I never make pizza in my grill, but I have used the rotisserie burner to get the inside hotter at times.
The rotisserie burner might help to cook the top of the pizza before the bottom overly chars! Just rotate the pie a few times.
@@WiffleBallLegend1621 maybe a new video testing the theory? Would be fun for science.
Thanks for the video! Is this a standard size W/D or is it a Junior version? We have a baby and will be washing cloth diapers, trying to see if this has enough capacity for our family’s needs.
Very easy!!! Just what I am looking for …my string broke today . You’re clever !! 😊 You live in Canada , so do I …we need handyman like you to show us home repair solutions . Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 .
The problem with wt on back is it puts weight on axle/ transmission - not sur3 if it matters
They have different weight options. I’ve seen wheel weights and frame mounted weights. This was the cheapest easiest method I could think of.
Do u have a video on stuck knobs
Sorry, I do not. Try push and twist and pull and twist. Both directions. WD 40, perhaps dynamite 🧨 Good luck 🤞
I think you did a good job of explaining the things to look for. Thanks. Will be looking for a pop up or regular camper very soon.
So glad I saw this video. I was about to buy one second hand. 😮
Nobody talked bad about the slime until the one in a bag came out. I used the slime for many, many yrears. It works good.
How i can install two outlets on the counter.Do i have to take connection from one of the out let or need to install another braker and wire from the box.
You can wire from one box to the next. Normally kitchens have a split outlet and one breaker per outlet. It’s best practice to wire the outlet from the panel but if you don’t have another option you can feed off the last box.
Dumb question here. Do you still have to open the brake reservoir cap before compressing the caliper pistons on these newer vehicles?
No. The reservoir is filled to the proper amount before the brakes are actuated when the car is made. So when you push the piston back the reservoir is at the same level when it was built. The only issue is if someone has overfilled the reservoir. When in doubt open it up.
I've added it to my fat tire ebike, and it never works. Also added tuffy tire liners, but still get flats. Huge nails and screws puncture both. Even got a flat only 5 minutes into my ride after fixing a previous flat. And they always happen to the back tire, never the front. I'm about ready to walk my 5 mile commute with a vacuum and a metal detector and just clear any debris I see.
lol! That sucks! As a kid we used to go on all day trail rides and brought a patch kit and wrenches and a bike pump. Fixed many flats in the middle of nowhere.
Great video. Electronic parking brake info was vital. Thanks
What is the thickness of the mdf used here?
It was 1/2” or a bit bigger
Invest in a travel pull behind trailer, Pop-ups can be a pain in the ass . If you store it outside. Use cut water bed Mattress to cover it to avoid Moisture.
We have milk in bags here in the U.S.
That’s a great idea. Looks great too.
Looks great.
I'm going to concur: these are the best molds I've seen online. It solves several problems rather elegantly.
Looks pretty good. Thanks! I just might make a couple for the wife.
